About newspaper collages

Collages are pictures made from different materials that are stuck together. The word ‘collage’ comes from the French word ‘coller’, meaning ‘to stick’. The cubists, dadaists, and later the surrealists liked to use newspaper for their collages. Collages made from newspaper often look a bit wonky and funny.
