To get started, all you need is to download our 3D Stars templates. Print out the templates and color in the stars. The flaps for glueing the stars together remain white. For one 3D star you’ll need two star templates.

What does this resource contain?
This resource contains five templates for making 3D stars. Each template has two parts that you can color in with colored pencils or felt-tip pens. You can follow the instructions to cut, fold, glue, and shape your stars.

Cut out the star templates along the gray outer line.
Score and fold back the glueing flaps with a scoring tool or nail file along the black outer lines.
Fold the star together along the three long diagonals from tip to tip so that the colored-in side faces outwards, and then unfold again.
Fold the star together along the three short diagonals so that the colored-in side faces inwards, and then unfold again.
Turn the star over and fold it into shape. Put glue on the glueing flaps and stick the two stars together back-to-back.
