The vases look especially ‘Greek’ if you first paint them orange with poster paints. Alternatively, you can print the vase shapes out on orange paper.
Cut out the vase shape following the black outlines.
Cut out the motif strips and gods and glue them on. Trim off the ends of the strips that overlap the outer edges.
Copy the god illustrations and motifs onto the vase using a felt tip or fine-line pen. Your hand-drawn vase will look especially original!
Finally, glue the vase or vases onto a bigger sheet of black or white paper. A great group project is to glue lots of individual artworks together on a huge piece of paper to make a wall frieze.
